“Homemade couscous made by Martavaltzoglou family, which –for three generations, now- maintaining their traditional methods and recipes, create exceptionally fine quality of pasta. They are located in Aravissos, a village near the area of Giannitsa in Greece.
This couscous is made with Dinkel flour (or Spelt) which was an important staple in parts of Europe in ancient till medieval times. In the new market is considered as a “health food” and it is used for making artisanal pastas, breads and cereals. It has a slightly sweet flavor and it is rich in many nutrients, such as protein and minerals.
